All us Kansas City People are always thrilled when KC Restaurant week starts. It really doesn't get much better than over 200 of Kansas Cities finest restaurants showcasing some creative dishes, with multiple courses and a portion of the proceeds benefiting 3 great local charities. This years feature charities is Kansas City Boys and Girls Club, The Kansas City Restaurant Association and The Greater Kansas City Development Council. So why not dine out and do good. We look forward to seeing you January 11th-19th for some amazing BBQ, desserts and feature drinks. I bet your hungry now. Call Summit Hickory Pit BBQ to reserve your spot 816-246-4434. ![]() Kansas City and BBQ just go hand and hand. I love the taste of slow smoked meats cooked over and fire with seasoned Ozark Hickory Wood. Take this pair for example our pork spare ribs and brine chicken with Honey Sweet BBQ sauce. Served with our house made Baked Mac-n-Cheese. This is KC Restaurant Week favorite. ![]() To be honest this dessert just makes you want to lick the whole bowl dry. You see we make our bread pudding custard style with fresh eggs, milk, cinnamon and nutmeg. Then we make the Almond Butter Sauce from scratch. There is just something about your grandmas recipe and you know to never change it! A Summit Hickory Pit BBQ fan favorite.
